Extra Credit
In order to get extra credit, you must complete the test found at this link. All material we have covered needs to be answered. For all material we have not covered, you must write what section of the book seems to cover that topic.
Finally, by Tuesday, January 22nd, you must email me or sign up at H-104 saying you will be doing the extra credit exam. Email me at joshuajwoodward@gmail.com or jwoodwar@icsd.k12.ny.us

Cancer Pioneer dies (not of cancer)
Anybody remember Judah Folkman? He was the scientist in the video about cancer. His contribution was first theorizing and then proving that angiogenesis allowed tumors to feed their own growth through the creation of blood vessels. Well, he died today. Click here to hear a great story about him from NPR.
Click here for a review sheet for the Cancer/Cell division test. The test is on Friday, January 18th.
You should also recall that there is no midterm for Ecobio, although you will be able to take a version of it for extra credit. See Mr. Woodward on Friday for the extra credit.

Class Blog is up and running!
Welcome to the Honors Eco Bio class blog. This blog is devoted to Mr. Woodward and Ms Scott's eco bio classes at Ithaca High School. We welcome students, families and guests to view our progress through the school year, download class assignments and material, and contribute to our collective understanding of biology.
Socratic seminar
Today is the Socratic Seminar on Stem Cells. Hopefully we'll have a great discussion. Check back for a video clip!
